Ashford Borough Counil
Design a visual identity for a one-off, festive festival of light. The colours from the Elwick Place palette should be used.
Inspired by the ‘glow’ of Christmas and the coloured LEDs we use to decorate our trees, I created a neon light identity.
Illuminites was a series of light-based events including a custom animated building projection, carnival with illuminated baubles made by local schools/businesses and a trail of exclusively designed and built Ash trees. This is a huge event on the Ashford Borough Council creative arts calendar.
It was a labour of love to ensure that the brightness of the neon glow and vibrancy of colour was maintained throughout digital, moving image and print. The event was well received and generated lots of positive press.
